Over the weekend, I got some writing done and finished reading a book that I really enjoyed (although it was a tearjerker), The World According to Fannie Davis: My Mother’s Life in the Detroit Numbers by Bridgett M. Davis.
Also, tomorrow I pick up the keys to my apartment in Eugene! I’m feeling excited and eager to get everything set up and organized, although that probably won’t fully happen until the end of September.
