Happy Hump Day Everybody!
I love this simple all black outfit. It’s so easy to throw on and look pulled together. Wearing a small in this basic black crewneck tee from Amazon. The shirt description says loose-fit, but it’s not exactly (as you can see). It is a super comfortable, relaxed-fit, washes great, and I wear it all the time. It was $17, but it’s currently ON SALE for $12!
I’m moving to Eugene, Oregon!
I just got approved for my apartment yesterday evening. My move-in date is Sept.1. Yay!
Well, to be precise, I will officially be living between Vancouver (my current residence) and my University of Oregon apartment. I am so excited! Thrilled to have more space, and the opportunity to create and design my own little environment to support maximum productivity.
I haven’t seen the apartment I will be moving into yet, but from the looks of the photos, it isn’t fancy. However, the price is unbeatable, and I look forward to trying to make it cute, and sharing the interior decorating process!
Training for my job as a writing tutor begins Sept. 21, and classes start Sept. 28.
I literally remember just one year ago, I made the decision to apply to PhD programs for the 2020-2021 school year. One of my professors encouraged me to do it, even though I hadn’t been awarded my MA yet. “Don’t wait! Otherwise you will have to wait another entire year. The sooner the better. Do it now!” he said. I’m so happy I took his advice!
I just ate lunch and now I’m contemplating taking a nap (hehe).
