I’m currently in Illinois to visit a University with my daughter. She was at the University of Portland, but has decided she would be happier somewhere else. We are both excited because this is our first mother-daughter trip ever, and we will also get to visit my Mom briefly (who lives in Indiana).

It’s been an interesting time for me lately; trying to manage my mental health while navigating some recent personal issues, work, school, and being a Mom! Just taking it one day at a time, and trying not to be too hard on myself.
