I learned about the NY NOW show from one of my best friends who’s been working in the fashion industry for the past 20 years. This five day event is filled with thousands of exhibitors featuring the latest trends in Home, Lifestyle and Gift collections. Located in one of the most amazing cities in the world, New York City is “the epicenter of design, trends, fashion, food and fun. It’s like no other market.”
This trip worked out so perfectly for me, because although it was last-minute, it was actually quite affordable and everything went smoothly. The only thing that I could have asked for was MORE TIME! I was able to have dinner with my high-school bestie (mentioned above) whom I get to see very rarely now that I live in the Pacific Northwest, and she’s back home in Chicago. I also got an amazing rate at Yotel, which is high-tech, Euro-style, contemporary hotel in the heart of Times Square.
My favorite part of my visit to NYC was making so many amazing connections with the lifestyle brands that I networked with. I can’t wait to go again and spend even MORE time walking around, taking in all of the amazing booths and finding business owners to collaborate with. Thank you NY NOW for having me, and thank you to all of the brands that I met and have begun partnering with!
